What is Aspira Health?

Where did the name come from?  What does it mean? Aspira itself is a made up name, but the meaning behind our company’s conception mirrors the root word aspire.  Aspira started with the idea that healthcare could do better for the patient in terms of quality of care and access. We wanted to reach for the stars to make the most memorable experience possible for the patient, giving the consumer more control over the care they receive and leave them amazed at how little time they had to invest in a doctor’s visit.  Aspiring for a “Wow!” from the patient is what we’re all about.

So how do we ascend to new heights in healthcare?  To start, we went out and adopted the best technology we could find to improve organizational performance.  The idea was that if the technology doesn’t work, then the clinicians can’t do their job well. With our integrated software, doctors can spend time seeing the patient and not filling out forms or documenting your visit for hours.  Instead, patients complete intake paperwork ahead of their visit through the online portal, and medical histories can be uploaded to the system so you can spend more time talking to the doctor about your health concerns.

Patients now have more flexibility in when and how they are seen.  They have the ability to book appointments online in minutes, be seen via telemedicine, or have access to all your health records and labs via our patient portal.  Patients can also request a provider to visit them in the comfort of their own home. When you’re not feeling well enough to make it out or you’re unable to travel to see a doctor, now we come to you!

We brought together top tier physicians that have been trained at nationally recognized hospitals such as: University of Pennsylvania, Duke, and University of Maryland, and Cornell New York Presbyterian.  Their close proximity in the same clinic that is integrated with cutting-edge technologies allows providers to consult each other and work toward getting you seen by the right doctor, right away.

We also realized that many patients spend a large portion of their day waiting in doctor’s offices and driving from the lab to the pharmacy to other doctors in order to take care of their health.  Well, we listened to these patient stories and designed a different model: bringing all these services under one roof to save the patient time and get them back to work, play, or enjoying their time with friends and family.

At Aspira, we aspire.

We rise above the rest by listening to patient’s needs and getting them what they want.  Here at Aspira: Quality Care Meets Modern Medicine.
