Since the beginning of my career, I’ve always loved learning and teaching. Over 10 years of nursing, I’ve had numerous positions including Emergency Department/Trauma, ICU, Step Down ICU, Transport Team, Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics, and Long-Term Care Facilities.  I have even been a clinical instructor for the Del-Tech Nursing Program.  While teaching students, I would frequently have a group of students following me around the Med-Surgical floors.  Even though it was a lot of work, it forced me to stay up to date on medicine because I had to answer any and all student questions.

I have a strong record for staying educated too.  From graduating magna cum laude at West Chester University to graduating with honors as a Nurse Practitioner in 2015, I’ve always stayed on top of medical information so I can offer patients the best outcomes.

My biggest passion is preventative disease management and helping patients with weight loss.  I help patients by staying open-minded and empathetic.  Patients need a partner in health who is there listening to their needs, not just going through the motions.  I try to focus on providing quality care and maintaining direct lines of communication with patients and their health care team while encouraging patients to participate in their health and preventative screenings.

When I’m not at the office, I’m exploring the great outdoors with my husband and three children.  Whether camping, boating or RVing, my family and I are probably at Cape Henlopen State Park or Lewes Beach.
